Welcome to ICT Tools Victoria

To start off I would like to introduce myself. My name is Victoria and I work as a secondary education English teacher at IES Sineu (Majorca). My blog "ICT Tools Victoria" contains differents resources for my EFL students. It is mainly aimed at my students but feel free to use anything you consider to be useful, whether you are a student or a teacher.

This blog experience is part of a course held in CEP Inca called "L'anglès i les TIC per l'alumnat del segle XXI" that I'm attending. The main purpose of ITCs tools is to familiarise students with the use of working and learning with computers and other technologies. The basic competence of treatment of information and digital competence consists on make the student being able to search, obtain, process and communicate information and transform it into knowledge. I think that being competent in the use of ICTs also involves being autonomous, critical efficient and reflexive when selecting and dealing with information. I would like to work on this basic competence with my students of 1st year of ESO and benefit from our brand new netbooks and smartboards. In my opinion, this course will be very useful for me to discover new teaching resources though ICTs.
